ITPSA VIETNAM CELEBRATED ITS TENTH ANNIVERSARY HOLDING A GALA DINNER WITH NGOC LAM VETERINARY & AQUATIC PRODUCTS CO. LTD IN HO CHI MINH CITY (VIETNAM)

Industrial Técnica Pecuaria S.A. (ITPSA) celebrated last November 1st the tenth Anniversary of the creation of one of its 6 subsidiary companies, ITPSA Vietnam, holding a gala dinner at the Sheraton Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The event was jointly organised by ITPSA Vietnam and the company NGOC LAM VETERINARY & AQUATIC PRODUCTS CO. LTD., main distributor of the company in the country. It was chaired by Dr. Francisco Puchal, ITPSA founder, who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Montserrat Sabartés, Mr. Francesc Puchal, ITPSA CEO and Dr.Josep Mascarell, ITPSA Asia Area Manager.

ITPSA (INDUSTRIAL TÉCNICA PECUARIA S.A.) PARTICIPATES IN XXII LATIN AMERICAN POULTRY CONGRESS 2011 CELEBRATED IN BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA)

Last September was held in Buenos Aires (Argentina) the XXII Latin American Poultry Congress, which ITPSA attended as an exhibitor. The Congress, organized jointly by the Argentina Chamber of Poultry Products (ICSC) and the Center for Poultry Processing Companies (CEPA) was performed between September 6th and 9that the La Rural Fairgrounds.

ITPSA was represented by Carlos Obando, Sales Manager of ITPSA Centro América; Fabricio Borjas, Administrative Manager of ITPSA Uruguay; Juan Pablo Ortega, Sales Manager of ITPSA Uruguay; Enrique Valdez, Technical Manager of ITPSA Centro América; Cleber Tizato, Manager of ITPSA Brazil; Federico Diaz, Manager of ITPSA Centro América; Felio Calafat, Commercial Director of ITPSA Barcelona and Luis Pérez, commercial Manager for Latin America in ITPSA Barcelona.

Dr. rubén rivera, livestock market unit manager of the laboratory avi-mex (méxico) and mycotoxins technical specialist, visits uruguay

dr.rivera Last May, Dr. Ruben Rivera, livestock market of the Laboratory AVI-MEX (Mexico) and mycotoxins technical specialist, visited with members of ITPSA Uruguay Colonia Valdense areas, Cardal, San Javier and San Ramon, in addition to the experimental and laboratory facilities of the Faculty of Veterinary UdelaR. During his visit, Dr. Rivera was able to verify the status of the business premises of dairy farmers in these regions, using the occasion to deliver a series of technical talks on mycotoxins and mycotoxicoses in cattle.

In the field visits Dr. Rivera was accompanied by Uruguayan producers and technicians, with whom he shared the critical points and risk of mycotoxins as well as strategies to decrease the prevalence of this problem in the food and the impact on the animal and milk.

DR. FRANCISCO PUCHAL MAS, ITPSA FOUNDER, WAS AWARDED BY THE GENERALITAT DE CATALUNYA WITH THE "CREU DE SANT JORDI"

doctor puchal creu 2011 "Creu de Sant Jordi" is one of the top institutional awards that Generalitat de Catalunya grants to. This award honours "natural or legal people that, on their merits, have rendered outstanding services to Catalonia defending its identity or, more generally, on civic and cultural level." The ceremony took place at the Palau de la Generalitat on April 27th 2011.

Dr.Francisco Puchal Mas is PhD in Veterinary Medicine at the University Complutense of Madrid and PhD in Animal Nutrition at the University of Iowa (USA). He has also been appointed Livestock Production Professor at the Universities of León and Complutense of Madrid, and Director and Professor of Animal Science at the Agriculture Barcelona College.
